Home Programmes Learning Journeys Nursery 2
Our belief is that a happy child plays and learns in an inviting and fun structural environment. A high quality, safe play-based learning experience allows the child to explore, negotiate and be a risk taker. These self-help skills will be important for the child to explore the world with confidence, curiosity, independent and a great desire to learn.
Our Growth Mindset curriculum journey encourages the Nursery children to discover their own interests and learn in an innovative way. They will also be inspired with the many opportunities discovered in our play- based activities. Children learn to regulate their own behavior, thereby supporting their eventual transition from school to later life stages. The child will take ownership of themself, and also have an identity and feel connected among peers.
Language & Literacy skills are developed via the foundational school readiness programme to promote skills that builds confidence in reading, writing, and also letter recognition and phonics. This is also a big step for both the child and parents. As individual developmental needs are considered, a balanced routine with flexibility will be important to help stimulate their learning environment.
